Director General for Security and Multilateral Issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Martin Povejšil is a Czech diplomat, he was ambassador of the Czech Republic in Chile, Spain and Andorra, ambassador of the Czech Republic to NATO and permanent representative of the Czech Republic to the European Union. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for the Security and Multilateral Issues. In January 2023, this position was renamed to Director General.
