John F. Sopko

John F. Sopko is the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction since 2012. He served as a prosecutor, congressional counsel, and senior federal government advisor. Mr Sopko has more than 30 years of experience in oversight and investigations – he was a Chief Counsel for Oversight and Investigations for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, a General Counsel and Chief Oversight Counsel for the House Select Committee on Homeland Security.
